The headboard ended up fine AFTER reordering new side posts. The holes were drilled in the wrong place. The new posts came pretty quickly, but the holes were still in the wrong place. We made do and drilled where they should have been. The "right side" of the headboard was clean. The back sides were full of greasy handprints.Very happy with purchase. Easy assembly and finished our bedroomAssembly went smoothly,looks very nice and was exactly what we were looking for.Everything lined up perfectlyThe headboard pieces didn’t match upThe headboard looks very nice but for the price, I expected the parts to fit together well. When I put it together, Part C, the leg, did not line up properly, causing the headboard to slant (a bit) and the next part would then not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the leg. I called customer service and they very politely said, no problem and sent me a new part. The problem is that the new leg had the same problem. I drilled new holes in the leg and put it together. Then, when I went to attach the completed headboard to the bed frame, I realized that not only doesn’t the kit come with bolts for this, the pre-drilled holes in the legs do not line up with the holes for the bed frame. Now I need to purchase an adapter.This headboard does not fit the brackets for a Legget & Platt adjustable bed. Fortunately I had someone to install it that drilled different holes to make it fit. Other than that is is very nice looking.Looks great after adding it to our king size mattress. Very sturdy and well built.I have to say, it did not come with directions so we tried to put it together without them. It was not working. Then I realized there are directions right on the listing. Once we realized that, it was easy to put together. It is very nice and well made.
