It was not the duvet I was looking for but AmeriDown gave FANTASTIC customer service! I will buy from them again. Check out their website they have some beautiful bed linens and their prices are reasonable for such good quality.This is by far the best comforter i have purchased in years. It is soft and the color i picked is just beautifulIn person. It looks like a teal green which is what i wanted. Packaging was very good.. Awesome overall. I am contemplating buying another one.everything is good so farI ordered this specifically because it was made in the USA and it was from a small business. When I received it the tag says “cover made in China!” Just the thing I didn’t want to see. Very misleading. You don’t order a 100% cotton cover down comforter made in the USA only to have a crinkly Chinese cotton cover. Who knows what they put in the die?The winters are mild in coastal CA and I don't use a heater at night...or much at all. Sleeping under this down comforter is all I need and I am toasty warm. Incredibly warm and comfortable. Well made. Great teal color. No feathers are poking through! No chemical smell or other smell upon arrival.At first I didn’t like the “noise “ of it but once I put a duvet cover on it wasn’t a problem anymore. It’s a great weight and keeps me comfortably warm all night. I live the color too. White gets so dirty easily.this is not an American made item as described. (the main reason I got this is because of the horrible way animals are teated in china) but this is made in china - just as bad is the way the feathers are coming out .. its been many months since I got this blanket and have constant feather all over my home. that need constant vacuuming. not a good purchase if these things bother youblanket itself isn't bad in regards to heat. a bit too heavy though.I do not recommend.Perfect for southern climate yeAr round.
