I hit the jackpot with this one. It is amazingLying in this bed is uncomfortable and I wake up many times through the night. The pressure it puts on my heels is aweful. And my shoulders and neck are always sore. I wish I knew after a few months I would not be happy.I want a new bedAwesome mattress. Comfy and cool. Feels like it has the quality of a mattress twice this price.It did not fill up the whole way when I got it out of the packaging. I even laid it out for days before using it. It’s way too firm and not the greatest quality. I could not return because I would need to box it up and ship, which I could not on my own.I have the Signature Sleep Hybrid Mattress in the 10 Inch Full size.The mattress ships in a compressed, vacuum-sealed roll. Unfortunately, the box ripped open during transit, so the plastic wrapped around the mattress was filthy. Having the mattress in the compressed roll makes it a lot easier to carry into the bedroom, but I didn’t want the nasty plastic on my carpet. It looked like there was a second layer of plastic underneath, so I took off the outer layer… and the mattress started to uncurl. The second layer of plastic was just a thin bag, not the plastic responsible for keeping the mattress rolled up.Just putting that out as a warning to anyone who starts unwrapping the mattress before it’s where you want it. Dragging the mattress up a staircase as it plumped up was not fun.The mattress didn’t come with any instructions, and I don’t see anything on the product page about how long to let it regain its shape. It looked right in about an hour, and felt reasonably firm 12 hours later to sleep on. But it took about 3 days for the mattress to fully firm up, all the way to the edges.The mattress did not have any scent. I’ve tried a few memory foam ones in the past and they needed to air out for a few days. The Signature Sleep one was good to go, no airing out needed.I’ve now been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks. The description of “medium firm” is accurate, and it’s maybe a bit closer to medium than firm. I personally prefer a firmer mattress, but of course that’s hard to know without being able to try in person. Still, the mattress is supportive, and I get a good night’s sleep.Obviously it's hard to discern what mattress is right for you without trying it out in person.But I figured nothing could be as bad as the twin size mattress that I currently sleep on. Its so uncomfortable & thin, you'd swear it was meant to for use in a prison. I also bought it online without trying it first. And Ive dealt with it...for 5 years!!!!So obviously my standards are pretty low, but so are my expectations after my previous experience choosing a mattress online.I figured this one was worth a try bc anything is better than my current situation. I feel like I've hit the freaking mattress lottery.Considering that again, I didnt get to try this out in person i wasn't expecting this to be such a good fit for me.Its the perfect combination...not too firm, not too soft. And when sleeping you cant feel when the person, or in my case, dog, next to you is moving around-or jumping on/off the bed. Randomly. All. Night. Long.I run hot when I sleep so I dont know if this mattress makes your temp go up or not i sweat no matter what I sleep on, in or where.Its def no worse than my usual sweltering state of slumber. One of the big selling points for me when it comes to any mattress is if its shipped rolled.I live on 2nd floor & the stairwell is incredibly narrow and has an awkward turn at the bottom.. its nearly impossible to get anything in my apartment so that tends to limit my choices anyway.This is shipped rolled AND it's comfort level is pretty versatile as I've made my parents lay on it also & both were comfortable despite being very different in size, shape & needs.Take it from this mattress lottery winner...if your gonna gamble, this is a sure bet.I hope my humble opinion helps you in some way.Thank you for reading.Sweet dreams ??
