I purchased this for trips and it worked out well. Some feather loss but not much. Snug, not over hot. Light weight. Super comfy.It’s a good down comforter for the price and stays in place well with a duvet cover. The crinkling sound really got to me and I took it from my main bed to my spare bed. Sorry future house guests!Although this was listed as a duvet insert, I use it as a comforter. I would say it is medium weight. It's very soft and keeps me quite warm, but not so warm that it gets too hot. I would say it could be used year round, especially if you turn down the air in the summertime at night (which I do). It's a beautiful pink color, which I love. Great value for the money also. Feels like down, but it's a actually a combination of down and some other filling. It's also machine washable. I would definitely recommend!Simple and clean looking designs. Arrives a bit flat from packaging but some dryer time will help with that I think.The design isn’t a crazy big poofy and fluffy looking blanket, that can look messy. It’s slim and streamlined in design I thoughtFor the low price of $99, I wasn't expecting this full-size comforter to be all-down. But 80% waterfowl feathers (fairly large ones that can be felt through the fabric) and 20% down translates into an uncomfortable comforter.The Amazon listing touched on the exterior fabric content (18% cotton and 82% polyester) and noted "...MOISTURE REPELLANT - Our down filling is water-proof and fast-drying"... not mentioning the feathers.They really should have been upfront re the composition of the fill being 80% waterfowl feathers. I didn't see that information anywhere on the listing description details and wouldn't have purchased it if I had known. It's too bad that this company doesn't manufacture the same comforter using 100% down - I'd pay the premium price for a comforter sans feathers.It didn't cost $300. It looks good. It's doing what I wanted it to do.
